I started by asking a couple of questions regarding the concept statement;
Connect. Collaborate. Create
What do they truly mean?
How can they be creatively represented for economic/marketing purposes?
What role can efficiency play in creative representation of these values?
The Basic Brand
In developing the basic brand, I took some inspiration from natural geometry, Intersecting lines and logo centric shapes to create identity devices and visual motifs that represent and remind users what Collargig does, which is to foster connection, collaboration and creation.

I created four textures for use on communication materials, namely;
The Dimension
The Collar
The Intermesh
The Cosm

Brand Application
I collaborated with Daniel Abayomi (PixelDahn), a product designer. We worked on a product strategy centered around gamification of the user experience, this was achieved by creating a reward based system for both employers and freelancers, reinforcing and rewarding positive behaviour with the use of avatars, medals, badges and an iconography system that includes icons and pictograms.
At the forefront of the brand application, I made sure to properly represent the target audience, keeping diversity and accessibility as guiding principles.
